Influence
The capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something.
Being able to draw the best character or behavior from someone is a key to success. Not everyone wants to be the next supervisor or manager, but your team wants to know they are successful no matter what level they are. How you influence someone, or motivate them varies by need.
How can you influence someone? Believe in them and let them know you believe in them. Empower them, delegate level appropriate tasks to them. As a person starts to develop under you, hopefully you will see some of your traits start to shine through in them.
Please drop some comments on how you can influence your teams.

Stephen Covey called it seek to understand before…
